Introduction

The aim of the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway Association (EVRA) is to support the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway by providing volunteers to help with its operation and maintenance.

Plus to protect and provide an educational and fun interpretation of the historical interest to both 'EVRA' members and the general public.

The Association itself was formed in 1997 and became a charitable company, limited by guarantee in 2004.

Model Railway Exhibitions at Wirksworth 2024

There will be the 19th Wirksworth Model Railway Exhibition on 9th and 10th of November - little did we think all those years ago we would be nearing the goal of number 20 and without the pandemic we would be home and dry! We are already booking layouts and traders and more details of them and the bus (probably even more welcome in November) will appear nearer the time.

All the profit from this event will be for the Appeal for the completion of the Station Building so why not come along and have an enjoyable day and help us towards our target at the same time.
