The wagon is in the livery of Swift Hazelwood. Herbert Swift was Station Master at Hazelwood from 1890 to 1926 and the family were also coal merchants and owned two wagons, the subject of the model.

News from the shop

18th Wirksworth Model Railway Exhibition
30th September and 1st October 2023

We will be holding our mega half price sale of all second-hand transport books over the  weekend as well as having a stall in the Exhibition. This year the stall will be in the Memorial Hall because there are now new fire regulations affecting what can be in the entrance hall of the Town Hall, hence the move.

Railway Magazines – early bound copies

We have a bound copy of railway magazines 1920 (volume Jan - June and volume July - Dec) available in the EVRA shop. £5 each or £8 for the pair.
